The people behind the study

A study is personal.
Its recruitment should
feel that way, too.

Most sites don’t make video. There’s no crew, no studio, and no one on staff who edits. So recruitment ads end up as stock photography or a few lines of text.

But that’s not just a creative problem. It’s a trust problem. Seeing and hearing the actual doctor or coordinator gives someone a real person to connect with before they consider a study.

Why video

More attention. A human connection.

Video gets noticed. Your own people help build trust.
Here’s what the research tells us, and what it doesn’t.

60%+

of the time people spend on Facebook and Instagram is spent watching video.

Meta · Q1 earnings call, April 2024
~7×

as many likes and comments, on average, for video ads as for picture ads in a study of 117,000 Facebook and Instagram ads.

Confect.io · Ads studied from 2021–2023
47%

of the 12,887 people surveyed worldwide said they would prefer to learn about a clinical research study from a research site’s doctor or study staff.

CISCRP · Global survey, 2025

Confect reports 612% more likes and comments, or about 7× the total. Its findings are correlations, not proof of causation. These sources support attention and trust, not a claim that video brings more leads or converts better.

What we do

You bring the people.
We take care of the rest.

01 Record

Video, made easy.

Your investigator or coordinator records a few short clips on Editory: a handful of openings, one or two explanations of the study, and a few closing invitations to learn more.

Just your people, speaking in their own voice. We handle the editing.

02 Combine & run

A few clips.
Several ways to connect.

Editory’s editor automatically joins your clips into finished versions. Five openings, two study explanations, and two closings make twenty different ads.

Once approved, the ads run. Ad spend shifts toward the versions bringing the most leads.

03 Follow up

Every lead.
Easy to see and answer.

Your coordinator gets an alert as soon as someone fills out the form. Every lead is on one page, with one click to call and one click to record what happened.

If your team is stretched, an optional AI call center can make the first calls. It’s a separate, billed add-on.

Recording

The hardest part
is the recording.
So we made it simple.

For most sites, recording is the step that never happens. So Editory puts a smart teleprompter on your screen: it follows your voice as you read, so nobody has to prompt from off-camera and there is nothing to memorize.

Open it on a laptop or a phone. Each part of the ad has its own recording area — openings, the study explanation, closings — so you are never running straight from a hook into the body of the study. When your clips are in, we handle the editing.

Simple, transparent pricing

Your budget. Clearly accounted for.

You name the amount you want to spend on a study.
Our fee is 30% of that amount, or $1,000,
whichever is greater. Video is always included.

The rest goes to ads, placed at cost, with receipts.

$1,500 Editory fee · $3,500 ad spend at cost

Static ads have no separate charge. A general video about your site is included at no charge for now. Optional AI calling is billed separately.

Where can the
budget come from?

Sites usually use the advertising line already in their study budget. If enrollment is behind, you can ask your sponsor or CRO for more. Some sites use their own funds for a study that pays well. We’ll discuss the fit, without assuming what’s right for your site.

How we work

Five simple rules.
No fine print thinking.

01

No promised number of randomized patients. Any numbers we show are estimates, never a promise.

02

Ad spend is placed at cost. You get the receipts.

03

Nothing runs until your sponsor or CRO, and your IRB, approve it. Only approved versions go live.

04

Form answers are never sold and never sent to an ad platform.

05

You stay in touch with your sponsor, CRO, and IRB. We contact them only if you ask us to.

A few good questions

Before we talk.

Straight answers to what your team
might be wondering.

What does our team actually have to do?

Choose a study and have your investigator or coordinator record a few short clips. Your team reviews the materials, handles sponsor or CRO and IRB approvals, and follows up with leads; we handle the video editing, study page, ads, and reporting.

How is this different from a vendor we already use?

Editory builds video around the people at your own site, rather than a stock photo. We connect the recording, finished ad versions, study page, and lead follow-up in one workflow, so you can assess whether it fits alongside what you already use.

How long from a first conversation to the first ad?

Usually 2 to 4 weeks. The two things that set the pace are recording your clips and getting sponsor or CRO and IRB approval; no ad goes live while approval is still pending.

What happens to the data we collect?

Form answers stay out of ad platforms and are never sold. Your coordinator sees qualified leads in the Editory portal; we’ll walk through data handling and your site’s requirements before you start.

Can we use static ads if no one wants to be on camera?

Yes. Static ads are optional and carry no separate charge. We can discuss what works for your team without asking anyone to record who isn’t comfortable doing so.
